Privacy Policy

I am Adam Boonzaayer. I run Adam Buys Alabama Houses out of Huntsville, and I am the person who reads what you send me. This page explains what I collect, what I do with it, and how to make me stop. It is written plainly on purpose.

What I collect

When you fill out a form on this site, I collect what you type into it:

• Your name, phone number, and email address if you give it
• The property address and what you tell me about the house and your situation
• Your answers to the fit-check questionnaire, if you take it
• Whether you agreed to receive automated text messages, and when

My website also records how you arrived — for example, whether you clicked one of my ads, found me in search results, or typed the address in directly. That tells me which of my advertising is worth paying for. It is not tied to anything you do off this site.

What I do with it

I use it to evaluate your property, to contact you about it, and to follow up if we do not connect the first time. That is the whole purpose.

Your information goes into my customer records system, REsimpli, which I use to keep track of conversations so I do not ask you the same question twice. I may also use ordinary business services — a phone carrier, an email provider, a title company, an attorney, a lender — when they are needed to actually do the work of buying a house. Those companies handle the information on my behalf and are not free to use it for their own purposes.

What I will not do with it

• I do not sell your information.
• I do not share it with other investors, wholesalers, or lead brokers.
• I do not add you to a list that gets marketed to by other companies.

I buy houses myself using my own financing. I am not assigning your contract to someone else, so there is no reason for your details to leave my hands.

Text messages

There are two different things here and they are worth keeping separate.

Me texting you

If you give me your phone number and ask me to get in touch, I may call, text, or email you about your property. That is me, personally, responding to your inquiry.

Text messages you agreed to

Separately, you can check an optional box on my forms agreeing to receive text messages, including automated ones, about your property. The terms for those messages — how often, how to stop, how to get help — are on my Terms & Conditions page.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with anyone. If you reply STOP, that is recorded and honored.

Email

If I email you, every message has a way to unsubscribe, and I honor it. You can also just reply and tell me to stop, which works exactly as well.

How to make me stop

You have a few options, all of which work:

You can also ask me to delete what I have about you, and I will, unless I am required to keep it because we actually did business together and there are records a closing generates.

How long I keep it

I keep seller inquiries as long as they are useful — sometimes a house that is not right today is right in a year. If you ask me to delete your information, I delete it. If you opt out of messages, I keep the minimum needed to remember that you opted out, so I do not accidentally contact you again.

Security

My site is served over an encrypted connection and my records system is password protected. No system is perfect, and I am not going to pretend otherwise, but I do not keep your information anywhere it does not need to be.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets one first-party cookie of its own to remember how you found it, such as one of my ads, a search, or typing in the address, for up to 90 days. I use it so the phone number you see and the source attached to any message you send me match the way you found me, which keeps my advertising numbers accurate. It stays on this site and is not shared with anyone. I also use three outside tools to understand how the site is working:

• Meta Pixel. It tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when someone visits, finishes the questionnaire, or sends me their details, so I can tell which of my ads are working and show them to the right people. When you send me your details, the Pixel also sends Meta an encoded (hashed) copy of your email, name, city, and ZIP code (never your phone number) — not readable text — which Meta uses to match the visit to a Facebook or Instagram account for ad measurement. • Microsoft Clarity. It records how visitors move through the site — scrolling, tapping, and where people get stuck — so I can fix pages that are confusing. Anything you type into a form is hidden from these recordings, so I never see your name, phone number, email, or address this way. Microsoft's privacy statement.
• Google Analytics. It counts visits and tells me, in totals, how people found the site, which pages they looked at, how far they got in the questionnaire, and whether they reached out. It does not receive your name, phone number, email, or address. Google's privacy policy.

My "What to Expect" video is hosted on YouTube, which is owned by Google. The site shows a still picture until you press play, so nothing is sent to YouTube just for visiting a page. When you press play, the video loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, and YouTube handles that viewing under Google's privacy policy. My analytics note that the video was started, never who started it.

Clarity and Google Analytics never receive the contact details you send me, and I do not sell them to anyone. If you have ad blocking or tracking protection turned on, the site works fine without any of this.

Children

This site is for adults selling real property. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this page

If I change how any of this works, I will update this page and change the date at the top.
